Janacek
The Cunning Little Vixen
This nine venue tour of Janacek's most lyrical opera took place in 2002. A spirited vixen defies the men who want to tame her. Members of the company play several animal and human roles, with an erotic duet between Fox and Vixen, a chorus of working classs hens, and one of the most beautiful songs for male voice in all of opera - the Forester's farewell to love and life.
