Belfast composer Michael Alcorn's excting new version of Monteverdi's masterpiece is scored for electronic chamber ensemble and live electronics,employing todays most advanced interactive performance instruments.The singers are Conor Biggs, Sinéad Blanchfield,Doreen Curran,Giles Davies,Thérèse Feighan,Niall Morris and Nicholas Hadleigh Wilson.
OTC Director James Conway,sculptor Kathy Prendergast ( Young Arist Award winner at this year's Venice Biennale) and lighting designer Simon Corder collaborate on a radical interpretation of one of the worlds most persistent and profound love stories.
