"Nearly 300 years since its last London production, Amadigi shines. Brilliant"
"A fine production... small but perfectly informed, once more the occasion for sold out houses... performances bursting with life."
"Majella Cullagh... real tragic grandeur in her final moments....Kenny... easy grace and thorough natural phrasing "
"The intensity and involvement of their performances has earned the company a swelling reputation and their annual BOC Covent Garden Festival now guarantees to sell out in the first week that tickets are on sale"
"Well up to OTC's exalted Dandelion standards, with sprightly playing and conducting... and some wonderfully expressive and virtuosic singing. Don't miss it"
"Jame's Conway's production has all the virtues of its wildly successful predecessors: the ability to generate emotion... and intense performances from singers whose command of serial idioms supports a powerful stage presence... wonderfully flexible playing. Towering over all is Collage's enchantress, quite majestic performance... Kenny's ringing countertenor as thrilling as ever"
"Conway's production makes an unanswerable case for both Handel and for OTC's whole aesthetic. As well as being beautifully sung and musically delightful it is also, as a piece of theatre, funny, sophisticated and wickedly playful... it creates a richness of texture from with and skill rather that physical opulence, at once beautifully artificial and fully alive"
