Love, lust and revenge reign in Acis & Galatea. Beautiful goddess Galatea is blissfully happy with her handsome lover Acis, unfortunately for her the brutal giant Polyphemus has his eye fixed firmly on her. He is determined to destroy their idyllic romance and win her for himself.
After a successful tour in June, Acis & Galatea was performed as part of a double bill "Opera at the Castle" in July 2009 with Mozart's Bastien & Bastienne in a co-production with Blackstairs Opera.
